configure actions from Android apps (need file download)

Hi!
I have a quick question - for some Android apps, there's an action that somehow receives files. For example, an attachment in Viber, or device reports from Droidentify.
I have actions like "share using email" or "share using IM" (Skype, etc) but they don't work. Email action is most frustrating, because it creates a new email, but there's no attachment in it (e.g. if I wanted to share a picture from Viber).
How can I configure those actions? How do I save files from Android apps?
