how to install perl

running sfos 2.0.4.13 on nexus5, can't have nice things from warehouse because of missing dependencies, one of which is Perl... is there a repository I can enable to get it?

perl installed after ssu ar mer-tools, but still same problem with libqt5core, eg: after trying to install harbour-zutun

...nothing provides libQt5Core.so.5...

Installed    qt5-qtcore-5.2.1+git36-1.29.4.armv7hl

pkcon refresh complained of a missing xml file, problem persists. couldn't select/copy/paste the terminal output sorry also browser busted on this page... think I'll leave it for now.
