hi, 1st of all im a complete noob. the tutorials on the web to install sailfish all seem to be old and out dated.

i have managed to install 1.1.6.27 sfos. but please can someone help me upgrade to sailfish os 2.0??? everytime i install a v2 of sfos it just doesnt boot and stays ont he 'GOOGLE' screen.

i would be very grateful. i want to get used to sailfish before the Sony xperia x release comes out.

thanks so much

@fmotl, you should convert this to answer. As for N4, please ensure that you install correct CM base, as instructed with 2.0.5.6 images

Thanks for your reply. Where can I download the correct cm? I found the git hub but they all have errors when trying to install.

The link doesn't instruct a cm either just says the latest.

Cheers Azz

You need to get cm-11-20141115-SNAPSHOT-M12-mako.zip . Try to search for it in google, I've got a link with download as one of the first ones.

@bavin87

Have a look here; https://wiki.merproject.org/wiki/Adaptations/libhybris/Install_SailfishOS_for_mako there seems to be details regarding the latest offering (2.0.5.6) for Nexus4.

Hi thanks so much for replying.

I did see this link but it doesn't say which cm to use or a working site to download from.

Cheers azz
