As an early adopter from the beginning, I upgraded to 2.1.1 wednesday. And, after the reboot the Jolla didn't respond anymore. In fact, the jolla logo displays and after ... black screen. I needed to reset to factory configuration the phone. That was the first time in 2 years. OK, it restarted (with a 1.0.8 version :() and a few hours after, since it was not possible to join the store, I decided to reboot it.

And ... same phenomenon: just after the jolla logo displays, nothing, a black screen. New reset and I finally found what was going wrong, that's the developer mode. Once I enable the developer mode, at the next reboot ==> factory reset needed.

Does someone know where I could look for what is wrong? A bad partition?

Thanks, db

No problems manually updating Jollafied AquaFish upon which developer mode was enabled prior to attempting procedure, but can confirm that getting prompted with System update available v2.1.0.11 both before and after.

Jolla C had 2.1.1.23 and the it downdated to 2.0.1.11. How do I have to act? 🤔

Same problem, JollaC 23->24 bricked and recover factory reset. Now I am stuck on 2.0.2.43: Jolla store error: cannot get update size. Need to wait...

Jolla1 worked fine.

By the way: Jolla1 update itself was very fast, after 3 or so minutes everything was fine. On JollaC the update process (status bar) was veeeery slow.

This phenomenon occurs with a Jolla 1 even under 1.0.8 version (native one). db
