Should I reinstall gallery?
If yes, how?
(Problem might have first occured after installing cameraplus from warehouse... Uninstall and reboot didn't fix the problem, though...)

Update: Problem was fixed after the last update. Then I changed the Remorse Timer to 2.5 seconds again by overwriting with a pre-configured file and gallery is broken in the same way again. So this must be the reason somehow. Maybe the Remorse-config-files have changed in the last updates...
The Remorse files I'm talking about are:
/usr/lib/qt5/qml/Sailfish/Silica/RemorsePopup.qml
and
/usr/lib/qt5/qml/Sailfish/Silica/RemorseItem.qml
Unfortunately I don't have the current unchanged version of these files anymore...

I would reckon release number and device says also something...

You could try Settings » Utilities » Refresh media database.

I tried. Result: 0 pictures, 0 videos, nothing happens.
After reboot: numbers restored, problem remains

For removing and installing jolla-gallery, us the following commands;

Removal;

pkcon remove jolla-gallery

Installation

pkcon install jolla-gallery

The output on my terminal gives the same first 3 lines yours does, but my Gallery works.

EDIT: I purposely installed Cameraplus from warehouse on Jolla1. It hangs back to its cover when you launch it, so the app doesn't work anyway.

The app uninstalled properly, I checked Gallery and was able to view any image from the camera without a problem. So it could point to a problem with the gallery app itself. Certainly for me, removing and installing the gallery app would be my first attempt to rectify the problem.

@Edz Thx. When I try to re-install using your commands it gives an error that it would damge my system and I think it doesn't let me as I could still open gallery after the remove command. The problem seems to be in my changed config-files anyway as you can see in the update.
