Unfortunately, Contacts Storage has stopped and Unfortunately, the process android.process.acorehas stopped messages WhatsApp at start and it will not recognize more than 34 contacts (of about 300). Contacts > refresh or show hidden contacts, will not help. I had a similar problem some time ago... Try to go to Anroid Settings... stop android services... uncheck "Allow Android apps to access contacts"... che k option again... start android services and maybe restart your device...

tried it, does not work so far. It brings up the error messages Contacts Storage has stopped and android.process.acorehas stopped again, but leaves me stuck with 34 contacts.

tutorials for android seem to point to clearing the contacts date in android and force stopping the contacts manager. Now how to do that on alien dalvik ... I would not even know where in android support contacts are stored.

I had the same error in the past. It was only Whatsapp ~ Telegram worked. It was a Whatsapp bug. But sometimes rebooting worked...

tried this, too. Reinstalled Whatsapp till they blocked me. Sometimes, refresh would make Whtasapp show more contacts but soon the count would be back to only 34.
