[2.1.1.26] Problems after upgrade (Bluetooth, WLAN, SIM)
I am using a Jolla 1, and for a long time it has been solid and stable. Sadly throughout the last few months, it gradually started becoming finicky. Whenever new WiFi networks were around the device would become almost completely unresponsive for a few minutes. The default web browser would freeze or show artifacts when browsing, media player would crash every now and then, etc.
I was hoping the 2.1.1.26 upgrade would fix many of these problems. Sadly, the opposite is true. WLAN action button/indicator in the events screen doesn't work as expected (usually just shows as "on", doesn't react to taps at all). WLAN indicator in the top bar of home screen doesn't reflect the WLAN status (i.e. shows as "networks available" even when actually already connected). Bluetooth events screen action button/indicator, when used to enable bluetooth, just flashes and never ends up in either "on" or "off" state. SIM PIN screen usually doesn't claims the PIN is incorrect, even though it turns out the PIN has been accepted and connection with the mobile network established.
These might well be related to the fact that for some reason I was not able to install the 2.1.1.26 upgrade through the GUI, it always failed. So, I used the command line process described here: https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201836347-How-do-I-download-and-install-a-System-Update-an-OS-update-
This seemed to have worked (Settings system upgrade screen shows 2.1.1.26, "system up to date"). Is there a way to reinstall this upgrade via the GUI, just to make sure all is properly installed?
Or perhaps there are some other actions I can perform to try fixing the issues?
