Hello. I used backup and restore to switch my contents from Jolla phone to Sony X. It went well :) But my mistake is that I did not install Notes and Gallery apps before doing this. (my bad, even if I thought they were selected at install, it seems it didn't install...)

I don't want to make a full restore, so anybody knows if : - It's possible to make a "selective" restore, ie. only notes (I don't really care about my photos as I can update them from my old phone to my PC) ? - It's possible to do this manually ? I found notes.sql in my backup, but I would need to inject this into the sqlite database under /home/nemo/.local/share/jolla-notes/QML/OfflineStorage/Databases/8b63c31a7656301b3f7bcbbfef8a2b6f.sqlite. It might be simple with some sql command but there may be a clever way to do this ^^

Thank you.

EDIT : I think I also had an issue with generic mail accounts because not installed :( Not this issue with google/gmail though for instance. While not installed, it restored the "names" of the accounts, but not the server parameters etc.

You can give a try with the app Mem! Not perfect but it can backup/restore data from most sailfish app (no android) to the sdcard. I was able to restore my call history and third party app where the official solution failed for me.

just copy the folder /home/nemo/.local/share/jolla-notes from old device to the new one. for accounts, you must delete and create new once.

@Okerampa did it work?

Yes it works :) I wanted not to have to access my old device, but without this need it works.

Too bad for mail accouts though, I may try the Mem ! solution
