Possiblity to add search engine addresses in Browser [duplicate]

So I can set up DuckDuckGo as my search engine. The best would be setting the name and the address by ourselves.

Sorry to ask questions already asked but I did search, and nothing came out neither with DuckDuckGo nor duck nor with the tag search-engine.

Yes I guess it was easier to get the right result some weeks ago. Then typing "search" gave it as the first result. Anyways, in one of the answers there's a solution on how to "fix" it in developer mode. But of course that's not the optimal solution.
