Hi,

I'm trying to sync my calendar but it doesn't work. I created an account for nextCloud (caldav + carddav). My contacts are now in sync, but my CalDav is not. I can see my calendars and birthdays calendar in the account settings, but I have no birthday calendar in nextCloud, nor do I see my events from the nextCloud server on my JollaC phone or vice versa.

What am I missing ?

In case someone is here looking for DAV settings:

Server address: https://[domain.tld]/nextcloud/remote.php/dav/

No optionals.

Try to sync manually. Goto Jolla Calendar and open pulldown menu. On top there is 'Sync'

should work. delete account and crate a new one, with server address only: https://[domain.tld]/nextcloud

I recommend to use a seperate account for caldav and one for carddav. This is how I use it since a few years and only once had a problem with duplicating caldav entries which I fixed by removing and readding the account.

Have you enabled the calendars in the accounts settings that you see. They need to be enabled. The birthday one is always there and autogenerated by nextcloud as far as I know.

Also make sure to mabye manually sync on the first time and see if the synchronizing option is set to something sane for you. Mine is synching to the server every 30 minutes.

Closing this issue in order to make a new one. It turns out that the Calendar does sync, but only birthdays.
