[Xperia X] Touch unresponsive while charging [answered]

The software has been flashed to a brand new Xperia X using official tools on Windows 7. Via Emma I installed NOBA 34.3.A.0.228. Most of the times when I plug it into the wall charger the touchscreen becomes kinda unresponsive. When from the lockscreen I try to unlock by swiping from either right or left to the middle it just bounces back and will not let me in. As soon as I disconnect the charger the touch works again I can unlock the phone. If I plugin the wall charger while the phone is unlocked and is in the phone app try to call someone it calls random contacts.

UPDATE: My old charger for the Nokia N900 apprently was a bad charger.

I can not recognize this problem with my Xperia. But I had a similar behavior with an old Android device few years ago. This was caused by a replacement wall charger. Have you tried another charger?

It's because of your charger all right.

Please search Fairphone 2 forums for similar issue: because the phone didn't come with a charger, people used whatever chear, poor quality chargers they happened to have, resulting to unresponsive touch acreen while charging. I have two such chargers.

A workaround is to snap a ferrite ring over the charger cord. I have tested this with both of my poor chargers, and it filters the noise out, resulting in working touchscreen.
