f I play back a video recorded with Sailfish X, the sound is ahead of the video, also on my PC. It is worse when I set the storage device to memory card instead of device memory, but happens with both. With my Jolla C I didn't have this problem.

To reproduce, it is easiest to record a video of tapping/knocking on something.

Do others also experience this issue with Sailfish X?

PS this might be a duplicate of this one, but Sailfish X is not mentioned, and no real solution or answer.

I have the same issue on Jolla1 and XperiaX. I must post-process the file on my workstation with

ffmpeg -i ${FileIN} -itsoffset 0.3 -i ${FileIN} -vcodec copy -acodec copy -map 0:0 -map 1:1 ${FileOUT}

Problem seems to be that the video recording does not follow a common frames per second setting. It is recording in 27/28 FPS instead of either 25 or 30. It should be able to record 30FPS. Best would be if one could set those things for the camera app in the settings. So the users can switch between 25, 30 or even 50 & 60 FPS (which should be also possible with the camera)

I also experience this on Sailfish X with the built in camera app, however it seems that Android apps do not have this issue so you can hopefully use them as a workaround until this is resolved.

I'm currently using "Open Camera", which seems to work ok, but unfortunately the video it produces is also rotated incorrectly, so needs minor editing to fix up. I also notice that if the video was recorded at the default bitrate (17mbps) the phone struggles to play it back, so that it appears to still have some A/V desync issue, but when played back on a computer it seems fine.

(I also had this problem on the Intex Aqua Fish, but general camera and microphone quality on that device made it unusable for other reasons)

I have this problem with videos on youtube now under 2.1.4. Hope we will get a fix soon. Wasn't there before.
