SailfishX and Xperia: Which µSD-Cards are supported (size, UHS-2, SDXC)?
Hey there. Flashing worked and my new Sony Xperia X is ready. Now the question is: Which micro-SD-card should I buy?
- Does the device with SFOS support SDXC?
- Whats with UHS-1 or 2?
- What is the maximum size of the card, which is supported?
- And what is the biggest you have in use?
Got this one for 40 EUR here in Germany: https://geizhals.de/sandisk-ultra-microsdxc-128gb-80mb-s-sdsqunc-128g-gn6ia-sdsquns-128g-gn6ta-a1328778.html#ang
Works as expected, with shared space for Sailfish OS and Android apps, see here.
ziellos ( 2017-10-22 12:05:59 +0200 )editI use a SanDisk Extreme 64GB (SDXC, UHS-I, CL.10, U3, V30, A1) formatted to FAT32 as a single volume - just for media in SFOS. Works like a charm.
Kao ( 2017-10-22 13:18:57 +0200 )editusing SanDisk 200 GB. bit of mucking around to mount & get working, but is in now.
I'd like to install straight to it - so I'll keep learning
rfa ( 2017-10-22 14:40:05 +0200 )editI'm also using a Sandisk 200GB card, Ultra A1 microSDXC and UHS-I. For formatting to FAT 32 I had to use this program: http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?fat32format.htm The other tools that I used before for my older cards did not work...
Dietmar ( 2017-10-22 18:06:17 +0200 )editI'm using a Samsung ProEvo+ (not "plus", but "+"-sign) with 256GB, formatted externally to Ext4, with same conf. as @ziellos
