I'm trying to create my first application with QML and QT on Windows 10. I have installed SailfishOSSDK-Beta-1709-Qt5-windows-offline, when the emulator starts I get the following error "[14.300583] systemd[1]: Failed to mount FFS mount"

After doing some changes, I finally manage to have the Emulator running on my machine, Following the next steps I was able to make it work. 1. Enable virtualization on the BIOS 2. Remove hyper-v from applications

Thanks! Worked for me.

I have Windows 10 Home, which doesn't have hyper-v (according to a web-page). So I only enabled virtualization.

The "Failed to mount..." error message is still printed during the startup of the virtual machine (VirtualBox 5.2.4), but the startup continues and the emulator runs without problems (so far). The message does not apper in linux-version of VirtualBox (5.0.40).

Increasing number of resources of Virtual machine (like RAM and number of CPU) can also solve the problem or remove the "Failed to mount..." message

I had the same Problem ("Failed to mount FFS Mount") when running the SDK on a Ubuntu with VMWare. The problem was that the the virtualbox is a nested VM, and therefore the Ubuntu VM needs proper configuration, by enabling the two flags under CPU ->Virtualize

Can you explain again where I can find these settings in Qt?
