My attempts to install Sailfish on my Xperia is currently foiled at the last step. Unlocking the bootloader and all the rest of it worked fine. Emma also works and I updated Android with it up to the latest version (34.2.A.0.333). However, flash-on-windows tells me: "The Sony Android version on your device is too old, please update your device..." But, as said, Android is the latest version according to both Emma and the update tool in the phone.

Is there a way to return to an older version of Android? Tried doing a factory reset, but it doesn't affect the build version.

Here's the current build in more detail according to Emma

Software: Application Software: 1300-4911 34.2.A.0.333

Customization: CDF: 1302-3140 R6C

Additional information: Activated: Yes

Right, so checked what's in flash-on-windows, and it contains a check for Android version. For anything less than 43.3., you get the error I got. But what to do when both Emma and OTA claim 34.2.A.0.333 is the latest?
