I have any compatibility issue. the @mal port work very smoot. I use fp2 since 18 monts and it's my only phone. for update you must use commande line. But it's very simple, you juste make copy/paste. https://wiki.merproject.org/wiki/Adaptations/libhybris/Install_SailfishOS_for_fp2
would be nice if jolla provided more community port hardware adaptation support.

As I never had a Jolla C I can't compare but it runs smooth on my Fairphone... Just be aware that you have to deal with an older release as there is only one dev working on the port and it takes time to release new versions...

White ( 2017-11-08 12:33:07 +0200 )editNow that Sailfish runs upon Xperia X Dual SIM F5122 I question whether continuing to develop for Fairphone 2 serves any purpose as starting to show it's age now and it's modular construction certainly hasn't added to it's reliability with a long wait for batches of spares to arrive from China. When Xperia X could be found @ €230 and will be able to run Android 8 Oreo if you get tired of Sailfish, FP2 is starting to carry a hefty environmental premium. Yes, I do have an FP2 which tends to spend more time as a USB tether to a Mac than a phone now, as last update available started to mess with Bluetooth functionality and port now needs to change over to Android 6.0.1 base.
Please do not attempt to update FP2 via UI.
