This morning I got the announcement there was a system update 2.1.3.7 . At first, after the download I got a warning that there wasn't enough space (450 Mb instead of the needed 500) I deleted some apps and then the update would continue to the point where the phone reboots and I see the update screen with progress indicator. Very soon after this the phone shows the message 'Sailfish couldn't be updated, try again later', 'Device will restart, Push OK"

Had the same problem (the "try again later"-message) on my Jolla Tablet yesterday. Tried 2-3 times without success. Did a try this morning and now it worked. Strange! But just keep trying! :D
I have not checked my log /var/log/systemupdate.log but as suggested here in the comments https://together.jolla.com/question/134520/cannot-update-to-20111-error-try-again/ it might have to do with connection/DNS problems...

I had no probs with the up but i have lots of space and the instructions recommend 2-3 gig for the up

Solved: I had Clamav (openrepos) installed, and in the log it appeared to give trouble. I uninstalled Clamav and the update proceeded. Installing clamav again gave an error though: clamav-0.98.5b1-10.7.1.jolla.armv7hl requires libcrypto.so.1.0.0, but this requirement cannot be provided ... .
