Even after Android-support installation, SailfishX v2;1.3.7 does not show F-droid store. F-droid apk can be downloaded from the F-droid.org website into nemo/Downloads. Should it be moved to nemo/android-storage/priv-app?

You don't need to move the file anywhere, install it first. Best way to do that:

  1. Download File Browser (available in Jolla store)
  2. Open File Browser and go to /Downloads
  3. Choose FDroid.apk and select install* via Pulley Menu
  4. Now the Android app install menu appears - click again install and that's it

Now you should see the F-Droid icon in the app selection. You can install future F-Droid apps directly from within the F-Droid store.

*(It might be necessary to enable "Allow untrusted software" in Settings/Untrusted software - I'm not sure if this applies to Android apps as well)

There is no need to copy the .apk file. Just install it by "open" it in the file File Browser and then select "Install" from the pulley menu. Be aware that you need to enable the "Allow untrusted software" found in Settings -> Untrusted software.
