connman segfaults connecting to open wifi

when adding and connecting to an open wifi, connman segfaults. the log shows multiple restarts, then systemd gives up as it always crashes. restarting the connman service, then quickly changing to settings and removing the wifi before a new connection attempt fixes it again (or deleting the configuration of this wifi in /var/lib/connman). secure wifi doesn't show this behaviour. i currently have no logs as journalctl has decided to not keep them, but i can produce some. device is jolla 1.
