Hi everyone,

I was just wandering few things about the battery life on my fresh Xperia X F5121 and I would like to know yours, to compare them.

For example, i woke up this morning at 9, 100% battery on my phone. During the day, a lot of texting, local music or streamed music via Deezer/Received, some internet browsing, a bit of Bluetooth sharing.

4G LTE network, no Wi-Fi, no other connexions, brightness at its lowest level. Don't really know the SOT, though.

after 10 hours, I've only got 15% left and I will need to plug the phone quite soon. Is that normal ? What is your own experience with your Sailfish X ?

In my experience LTE eats battery like crazy with SailfishX. I try to stay with Wifi/3G.

This is good battery life I guess: https://twitter.com/llelectronics/status/934897918158483461
4 days battery life basically if not using the phone much.
On a normal usage I at least get 2 and a half day.

Oh wow, how do you manage to get such a good battery life ? perhaps my device has some defects... or I'm just waiting too much from my Xperia X, because I'm always on LTE network, Push mails, and lot of Internet browsing / Music.

Wish I had 2 and a half day.

Basically i had 1 and a half or max 2 days before I switched from the Signal Android App to using Whisperfish. Now that I don't use any Android App regulary I guess that improved the batterylife for me that way. I also installed defender so that that the browsers (mainly the default) would not stuck on loading some stupid ads. That made the overall browser experience a lot faster for me which lead to I guess less screen on time waiting for the browser to load something. Though I also have to admit I am not a heavy LTE user. I have a separate phone with my LTE sim in it so I only use 3G on the Xperia X when I needed and I am on the go.

Found this one also. I think it's more related to deezer, since after I moved my music listening to local library, my day ended with ~65% battery instead of ~15-20%

I don't think it's related to 4G or AlienDalvik , got both whatsapp and telegram open whole day.

Oh thx, I'll try not to listen to Deezer then, we'll see if I can improve my battery life as good as yours.
