Sailfish X USB DevMode
Plugging my Jolla1 phone to my workstation (linux) via USB and enabling devmode (usbmodeswitch), I get an network interface with an IP address (DHCPDISCOVER receives DHCPOFFER).
Plugging my Xperia phone with SFOS X to my workstation does not work like with the jolla1 phone. DHCPDISCOVER is waiting to get a response.
Any hint?
Probably you should repeat the third step and assign different inet address for each phone. https://together.jolla.com/question/1919/howto-connecting-to-jolla-via-ssh-over-usb/?answer=1927#post-id-1927
At least I encountered this problem on Windows. I had manually assign different RNDIS interface ip to each phone.

Just tried unsuccessfully connect my XperiaX in Windows via Putty via USB. To add my language (Lithuanian) keybord layout. The same computer before was configured to connect to JollaC via USB SSH.
Putty connection was unsuccessfull until I manually configured IP. While adding same IP as with JollaC Windows warned that previous connection will be overwritten and thus non-functional, so I chose different last digit in IP address for the XperiaX.
I'd be thankful as well if somebody explains for layman the design of Sailish SSH via USB connection and interaction with Windows (Linux).
