Hello!

Is there any way to open Postscript documents in Sailfish (Jolla1)?

I've tried to find any hint on previous threads but I have not found anyrthing on this matter.

As as an alternative, is it possible to compile a latex source (.tex) to pdf on Jolla?

Thank you in advance!

I'll be honest, I don't even know what a postscript file is, but I do know the question was asked many years ago, it got 1 vote and no answers.

You say you found nothing, but does 'nothing' include this existing question?;

Please try to avoid posting duplicate questions by using the search box, .....oh and welcome to TJC :)

Yes, I had seen that question but, in fact, you cannot open postscript files in the browser as well, at least I don't know any browser that could open postscript files per si.

I don't post much but I read almost any entry in this forum as I'm a Sailfish OS user since 2014 :-).

If you have the sources, use pdflatex or xelatex. As for SFOS, you can try compiling ghostscript for ps2pdf.
