Hi all,

I just got my Sailfish X last Saturday and it has been amazing. Flashing etc. went just fine. My question is that have anyone else noticed the pop sound when clicking or going back in Android apps? I have disabled touchscreen sounds etc. on Sailfish, but yet still this occurs when using Android apps.

Of course if the phone is silent or volume is set to 0, this popping doesn't occur, but that's not a workaround for all cases. Is this a known bug or what? I assume there must be some kind of a script or setting how this can be disabled as the loud bling sound when unlocking the phone.

in "Alien Dalvik Control" (in settings) turn touch sounds off

You need to install and enable Aliendalvik control patch before. As far as I'm concerned, I uninstalled this patch because it removes Dalvik autostart when an Android app is launched. Not convenient for users who don't use Aliendalvik permanently.

In my opinion one should be able to do these settings on Sailfish OS side without installing any other control addons/apps. I hope they add some kind of controls for AlienDalvik sounds etc. also on SFOS.

There's no problem for me to install and do some scripts on SFOS to turn off something, but I think it's rather complicated for those users who don't want to or aren't capable of.

I agree. SFOS is stil a "nuts and bolts" thing.

@coderus: Thanks for the app. I had no idea it existed. BTW searching Warehouse for 'alien' doesn't find it, though it finds Aliendalvik Superuser: I had to search 'aliendalvik'. Tags?
