Inside Warehouse/Storeman I currently get the info that there are updates for the packages tar, qt5-websockets and qt5-qtdeclarative-import-websockets available for my SX X. Have I to/should I install this sort of updates?

"To update or not to update", that is the question, as per usual, the choice is yours. If it were me, I would have to ask myself, is the device running well as it is......if not, then maybe to update the parts one at a time, reboot and see how the device is behaving. It really is a personal/individual choice.

Sure, you're right. My preferred approach is to keep everything up to date, as long as the updates come from official sources, have no beta status and I have the impression that they have been well tested - this was not the case with the above-mentioned ones, so my question is here. But how life tends to play with one's: Yesterday I slipped selecting something on the touchscreen and suddenly all available updates were installed.... !: 0 But fortunately everything runs smoothly so far. :)
