Hello there I finaly needed the GPS on my Xperia X (SFOS X 2.1.3.7), but strangely, Wego never found were I stood (some place in France) and showed me the map of ... Berlin. The only maps I have in the phone are France and Spain, so I switched to offline mode, but still, Berlin only. Aparently, GPS didn't fix.

Did anyone experience the same disorder ? What kind of solution do you have ? (bringing on my Intex may not be the solution, I already have my Nokia 808 for good pictures...:-( )

Thanks for your help. Chap

Hi Chap. Works great on mine and have eastern seaboard of Australia in offline mode. First have you checked you positioning rules in Settings? Second do you have patch GPS supplier installed from Openrepos? That may affect it. Lastly, it may be a silly proposal but is your phone set to update time by network? GPS time could be out and trying to search for you in wrong part of the World. Cheers. Rich.

Have you tried installing GPSInfo to see if GPS functioning: link text

In Settings > Location > Enable Custom Settings > Try enabling GPS Positioning, Offline position lock from Mozilla location services mobile phone tower information and Online position lock from Mozilla location services mobile phone tower and wireless network information.

someone here on tjc already mentioned you have to be in motion, to get here working. With knowing this, my gps is working for me, but on every traffic lights i have to stop here start searching for gps signal. as soon as i start again it works as usual.

Yes, I can confirm this. Searching for signal while standing still, GPS active on the move.
