Hi all,

Just a newbie on the block with a fresh installed sailfish x on a xperia x. All went flawless until I started to install app's. Instarted the HERE we GO app and the android support which is needed for this app. The Jola store said "installed" but it does not appear between the standard apps. When using the search function it goes to the jolla store, instead of running the app.

It is best to install Android Support first and only then install Android apps (e.g. Here WeGo). The former is the platform or playground on Sailfish OS for Android apps.

Try this, please:

  1. Uninstall Here WeGo (visit Jolla Store, pull down My Apps, look for Here, tap on it and let uninstall).
  2. Restart the device (just to be on the safe side).
  3. Install Here WeGo again (in Jolla Store).
  4. Check the app launcher view - Here WeGo should now appear at the bottom of the grid of app icons.

Thanks, works also for any other Android application, for example Android store aptoide. Restart after Android support installation is necessary.

Thanks for the swift response. I am afraid that the solution is to complicated for me. I do not have an idea (yet) what an APK, PAK or terminal is. Any other options?
