I'm somewhat confused about the difference between these two categories; they both seem to contain apps of identical nature.

Could someone clarify what the difference is - and if there isn't any then maybe they should be merged into just one category?

In my opinion it should be this way:

  • Network - tools related to a network connection or things that does not require the Internet to work (apps like QuickPing, IP Address, Tethering, HaveClip, Network Monitor)
  • Internet - apps that are providing some service from the Internet (apps like ReadWrite News, Webcat, Friends, Tidings, Pizza-online, Sailbox)

Some of them are in wrong categories, but fortunately not much.

Fully agree with that definition. Richard
