How could I play m3u8 files?

For example, The People's Voice -live stream, which appears to be http://cdn.rbm.tv:1935/rightbrainmedia-live-106/_definst_/ddstream_1/playlist.m3u8

VLC doesn't seem to work.

Oh, i got it to work through VLC for Android (v0.1.4) afterall! --> just had to MANUALLY type in that long URL. First tried to open the m3u8 -link, which the browser (Opera here) downloaded. Now, for viewing next time, i can reach any particular link of this kind through VLC's menu's "Last playlist" function.

You can use some QR code generator on your PC and then use Barcode Scanner to read it. Saves you the trouble of typing :-)
