Buffer overflow on Sailfish X? Screen stuck while active use
Hi,
I am quite happy with my sailfish X. I have v 2.1.4.14 running and for a couple of weeks a severe issue. Whenever I use my phone, after a random amount of time, the screen gets stuck, and it's only possible to switch the screen off. And do a restart by pressing vol-Up and power button for more than 3 seconds. Usually, that issue arises within 10 minutes of usage. it occurs also when the android subsystem is halted/has never been started, but it takes longer until the system stops. Is there a specific app that could cause the issue? once the screen is stuck, it's also not possible to remotely use the terminal.
which diagnostic files could I add to this post in order to help you supporting me? I am quite new to the debugging on sailfish. i can easily connect in developer mode via wifi to my device, hence most of the tasks should be easy to fulfil.
I wanted to add that - since I have sailfish installed on the xperia x - it doesn't charge the battery reliably. sometimes I have to restart it with power + volumeUp a couple of times until it continuously charges. until then, mostly a charger is detected but i receive the error that it was disconnected. maybe this information is helpful to you.
thanks in advance!!
Didn't you activate a doubletap hack like https://together.jolla.com/question/166938/double-tap-on-sailfish-x/ ?
