The Xperia Xperience [Xperia X]

Hello everyone, just got my Xperia X in, and i have to say i'm liking it a lot so far. i didnt get in early enough for the jolla C and the aqua fish wasnt much of a jump over the original model, but the xperia is nearly perfect for me.
That said, there are still some problems:
- you have to manually configure mms with some carriers
- no touch wakeup without other issues out of the box
- no supersu aliendalvik binary (needed to fix thongs like persistend android notifications that show up repeatedly, etc. that are endemic to sailfish rn.)
I noticed that there's no central repository for cataloging problems and fixes for xperia users, so i'm turning this post into a wiki and adding solutions I find along the way. The goal is to make this post a one-stop shop for new xperia owners with sailfish x or powerusers that need to know the quirks. The post is also open for other members to edit, so feel free if you find something before I do.

I am thinking of giving Sailfish OS a try but to be honest, the issues described on this site scared me a little away (bug with contacts app, poor camera performance etc). Curious to hear about your further experiences with Sailfish X, would like to be convinced ;)
