Hi,
when creating a new message and adding a recipient with the search field, the facebook contacts pops up immediately. My issues are: -) Contact details can not be choosen (mobile, facebook, work, ...) -) By default, the message app uses facebook which is not convenient.

@MattVogt Ok I found the issue. If a facebook name is different, just by a little, to the one in people, it gets messy in the search field and the link is not made properly. Anyway, the search function is really bad and needs to be deeply reviewed. The names do not appear in alphabetic order. I type "Pierre d" and I get a "pierre Van" before another "pierre d"...

I have the choice, only when I wanted to work to fast I sometimes choose FB chat instead of sms.

What should happen when you add a recipient, is that you should be shown every contact that has one or more phone numbers or operational IM addresses*. Then, when you select a contact, if there is more than one possible address that can be used, you will be presented with a menu from which you select the address you want to use.
*IM addresses will only be shown if they are connected to an IM account configured in the device; they won't be shown if they were imported from VCF files and aren't linked to an account.
