Bug: Fingerterm keys get "stuck"
If you get a call or an alarm while typing in Fingerterm and a button is pressed at the same time the call or alarm activates it gets "stuck". For example, while writing hello and pressing "l" when something else activates it produces an infite amount of l's while the call or alarm is active; here the hello would become hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll....
Edit: Now this happens with normal usage also. Very annoying when using irssi over an ssh connection. From the another, duplicate question:
"This only seems to happen when you freshly launch terminal. Once terminal is ready, immediately start typing fast - even if it is gibberish. what you will find is one of the keys that you type will get stuck in the pressed position and continuously enter a repeat loop. so in the terminal window you will see the key appearing repeatedly nonstop."
I've noticed this to, it annoying but not a dealbreaker. Put it on your to do sometime list.
BonoNL ( 2014-01-22 16:39:58 +0200 )editThis happens daily for me. It seems to be related to the problem in terminal where you type something (usually quite fast) and the characters get stuck in some internal buffer for a while, until they all come out on the screen at once, with vibrations for each character which is a bit annoying. Usually the keys get stuck during this but not always, I've had a key get stuck even while deliberately trying to type ever so slowly.
You can end the infinite repeat by tapping the stuck key, sometimes it takes a few tries but it gets eventually unstuck.
argontus ( 2015-02-26 15:21:37 +0200 )editThis happens to me everytime I open new terminal and use SSH to connect to my shell and irssi screen, although it happens only once per session. For some reason I cannot repeat this when using shell locally.
chipmonk ( 2015-03-17 21:47:24 +0200 )editThis has been happening to me on VKB since forever, but I recently got my TOHKBD rev2 and I have this issue when typing on that one as well.
