[Bug] [Jolla Tablet] Bluetooth audio not routed since 2.1.4.14 Lapuanjoki [Fixed on =>3.0.0.0] [answered]

Hi there! I have this issue with my Jolla Tablet with bluetooth audio. As the sound is played by Jolla Tablet's bottom speaker instead of paired and connected bluetooth audio device. Also when connected to bluetooth audio device, sound from tablet speaker is clipping. It does not matter which audio source is playing, the device speaker always wins. Neither re-pairing audio device have any effect. Was this not tested on 2.1.4.13 with Jolla Tablet? Anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

This is a general bluetooth problem regardless of hardware and has already been reported a number of times;

It is still worth reading. I found out that I had to manually set sink/source ( at least first time ) via dbus. Unfortunately gui is missing for such configurations.

Carl ( 2018-09-23 20:18:48 +0200 )editAudio or BT was not touched by 2.2.1.18 - not expecting anything to change. I will raise the question if we could get PA 11.99 as I had issues with 11.1 which are gone with 11.99.
deloptes ( 2018-09-23 21:42:09 +0200 )editI partly agree with you @Edz. The difference here is architechture and hardware. x86 and Intel chipset. If you have the Jolla Tablet like me I think you will agree. And for unknown reasons some of OS release testings are overlooked past with Jolla Tablet, until someone reports its bugs here on forum. So I will close this question when this issue is sorted.
