Here WeGo not able to download maps, or get online map info anymore?

I recently re-installed Here WeGo on my SailfishX, but it is unable to download maps, or show a map in online mode without downloading a map. I also re-installed an older known-working version of Here WeGo, but that one is also unable to get any map data.
Is this a known issue?
Fortunately I have an Intex with a map downloaded ages ago, that I can still use in the car, but my X is useless for navigation currently..
Why don't you try it with WhoGo Maps and OSM Scout Server?

Then maybe check your location services and see if positioning is accurate enough to get a valid tile to download. Mine took a while first up and had to use high accuracy. From there it remembered the country/state I reside.

accumulator ( 2018-06-26 17:59:07 +0200 )editI don't have my Jolla at hand to test, but I recall experiencing something similar when I installed WeGo Maps. It could neither get a fix nor download maps. I ran the native Sailfish Maps app, got a fix, and then after that WeGo both located the phone properly and then downloaded maps.
I suspect that it's the initial location fix which is blocking you. Since WeGo doesn't know where you are, it doesn't know which map tiles to download.
