Adressbook empty (synced from Google Contacts) [duplicate]
I run 2.2.0.29 (Mouhijoki) on an Xperia X and my addressbook gets empty every now and then.
I have quite a large contacts list on Google Contacts and sync them using the "Google" account implementation on Sailfish. This worked well for quite some time but lately I run into the issue that the adressbook is suddenly empty. Only the "SIM card" contacts and locally saved contacts are still available - all the contacts from Google are missing.
When I manually trigger a sync with the "Google" account it takes some time (only a couple of minutes) and then the adressbook is back again. Then some "bad magic" happens (I really have no clue what it triggers) and the contacts are gone again.
Am I the only one with this issue?
Any ideas how to debugg this?
Thanks in advance and all the best, Nicolas
I have this issue now as well.

One possibility is that network change (wifi/3G) triggers this or any failed sync attempt empties address book. The contacts isn't empty per se, they are there if you examine the sqlite contacts DB, they are just flagged unavailable somehow.
