headset did stop working [answered]

xperiax: since a week or two eaar phones are playing no sound plug in does neither stop.the song nor switch from loudspeakers to earphones.. csd tool test also fails, it does not detect them. guess the plug is broken. any chance to switch manually (software) between loudspeakers and earplugs ?

Hi I have the very same problem: headset not detected anymore. Since 1 week.

Really strange bug. Did restart the Xperia, nothing new.

I had this problem on a phone before. Turned out it was dust and stuff from my pocket that had gathered in the bottom of the headset connection of my phone. Took it to some place that cleaned it out in minutes for a few dollars.

there was paper tisue in the jack i have there fine-needle-tools and was able to pull it out thanks!
