Dear all,

I am selling my Xperia X (F5121) with Sailfish X installed (resetted to factory default). The phone fell down shortly after I bought it one year ago, the screen broke and the back camera stopped working.

However, the phone is (almost) completely usable. The broken glass does not interfere with the touchscreen operation. The camera is the only non-working part.

I recently bought a F5122 and transferred the license to it. That is why I am selling the F5121 with SFOS-X preinstalled in case anyone of you is interested.

Only the hardware with SFOS-X is being sold. No SFOS-X license is comprised.

The price is 30 euro and postage is NOT included (from Germany). Original box is still available and the charger + earphones are still sealed.

Pictures are sent, if you are interested.

Edit 24/8/17: Price lowered from 40€ to 30€

@lupastro

Hmm, interesting maybe, any chance of a nice pic showing the screen working/the extent of the damage?, I'm in Valencia and I don't mind slow post ;)

In my younger years (i.e. single and kidless) I would have done it without doubt. Now I have a 2-year old reason that requires a lot more time of attention and, furthermore, I found the F5122 at a good price. By the way, the 2-year old reason is partially the reason why I dropped the Xperia X.... :-P

Hi, give me your email address and I will send you further information about the phone.

@lupastro: I still didn't got any email from you on the email I left here, if you are still interesting on selling your xperia, please give me your email address so I can send you an e-mail.

Recently I had an accident with my xperiaX, and I would like to see if I can manage using parts from both devices come up with one functioning well. (--updated Sep 7 '18)

Please keep in mind that a Sailfish X license cannot be transferred to a new owner/Jolla account.

According to MartinK on https://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=100217&page=2 it is possible "You can certainly transfer a Sailfish X license you own to someone elses Jolla account via Jolla support ticket (zendesk).

Did just that ~two weeks ago - transferred one of my licenses to a friend this way. The license was even used before on a phone (which now has a smashed screen). Everything went fine and the license was transferred within a few days."

Interesting. Jolla support just told me that a new license had to be purchased.

outzider ( 2018-09-17 16:10:21 +0300 )edit

@outzider: You have to buy a new license if you have a new device. If you buy a new xperia, you can transfer your license to it. The old xperia will be then license-less. Hence, if you want to keep using the old xperia or you want to sell it, a new license will have to be bought. Clear and concise: two devices = two licenses.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I purchased an Xperia X with a Sailfish X license, and was told that the license for this IMEI cannot be transferred to my Jolla account, I would have to purchase a new license for this same IMEI. Specifically, a license is for both a Jolla account AND an IMEI. Jolla may, at their discretion, transfer a license to a replacement Xperia X of the same model, but that's the only license transfer case.

Hi, nasdid not contact me after the last message. So, yes, it is still available :-) Where can I send you the video link? helder_alemao@hotmail.com?

lupastro ( 2018-10-08 18:38:34 +0300 )edit

@lupastro Of course I am still interested, but you didn't reply! I write again my email address, and I hope I have an email from you: 2237@osauvage.com . Please let me know when you get it so I can remove it, thanks!

nas ( 2018-10-09 10:05:46 +0300 )edit

@nas - I re-sent you the email again when you told me that you had not received it (September 4th). And I got no answer. The address you just wrote is the same I sent the email in the past. I am really sorry, but since you did not answer to my post of September 18th I supposed that you were not interested anymore. Unfortunately I already sold the phone to deutch1976.

lupastro ( 2018-10-11 21:41:33 +0300 )edit

@deutch1976 if you are not interested about the phone but only for the accessories, could you please sell it to me?!

@lupastro I Just saw your e-mail from Sept :/
