I manually updated to 2.2.0, but I keep getting 2.1.4 OTA
To be on the latest Sailfish update, I manually installed version 2.2.0.29 using the Terminal. It's all good, but the update checker still keeps on offering me an update to 2.1.4.14.
My device is the Intex Aqua Fish. To ensure that there's no issue, I've once taken the offered update which downgraded me to 2.1.4.14. I then once again manually updated (because the update to 2.2 does not come even when I'm signed up for early access too). And I'm still facing the same issue.
The persistent notification then stays on top of my notifications list, which kinda annoys me. Is there any way to tell the system that I'm upgraded to a newer edition and it should stop showing me the older OTA?
I have also tried clearing store cache as suggested in some posts.
Have a good read here; https://together.jolla.com/question/112217/persistent-update-notification/

Also, I'd remove the Jolla account. But it is impirtant for the store. So, I need to keep it :)

coderus ( 2018-09-02 09:52:16 +0200 )edit@Edz I surely did read it. What @coderus did there was to first remove the account, so that it no longer checks for updates. Then to get rid of the notification he deleted the notifications database. Unless I do not remove the account, the notification will just come back the next time it checks for updates.
