Hey,

some system updates ago I forgot to disable all patches from patchmanager. But luckily that does not caused an error. But now I was trying to update my Jolla phone 1 from 2.2.0.29 to 2.2.1.18. But today I could not click the update button and the page in system settings with sailfish update was not loading. In journalctl I found the error: in /usr/share/jolla-settings/pages/sailfishos/mainpage.qml Dbusinterface is not a type. So I tried to remove patchmanager. This was successful, but I guess this did not removed all patches. Additionally I always had problems removing some older patches. Therefore I guess, some qml is still manipulated. So my question is, can anyone please paste the file /usr/share/jolla-settings/pages/sailfishos/mainpage.qml? Or has anybody an other suggestion where the problem may be? Thanks in advance yajo10

Thanks, this solved my problem. Now I could use the UI to start updating my phone. But just as a hint: some newer patches installed via the webview of patchmanager are not removable using rpm. But while running the update, always an error occurred so I decided to reset my device after making a full Backup vie the recovery menu and dd.

To see if patches still exist in the device, do rpm -qa|grep patch - this should list any patches that remain, DO NOT remove patch-2.7.5+git1-1.1.3.jolla.armv7hl, most patches should begin sailfishos-patch. If you find patches that need removing, you can do this rpm -e name-of-patch --noscripts

mainpage.qml is part of jolla-settings, it can be replaced by reinstalling jolla-settings-sailfishos-0.2.2-1.6.7.jolla.armv7hl with pkcon install jolla-settings-sailfishos
