F5121 camera resolution is only up to 16 MP instead of 23 MP [duplicate]

I recently discovered SFOS and I am trying to investigate how to properly use/enjoy thiis. But I realise the camera efficiency is not good as original. Please consider I bought my XPeria X almost just for its camera. After dissapointment of android (I am an Apple user because of my work) I decided to give a chance to SFOS. But now I have another issue about resolution of camera. Am I the only one who disturbed by this problem? (except one who already asked same question before me - https://together.jolla.com/question/169359/xperia-x-main-camera-max-resolution-is-16-mp-not-23-mp/) I decided to ask one more time since just to know a developer have an attention or an effort to solve this. Also somebody claimed it can be intentional. If this is the case, I should reconsider to change OS again. Anyway, is there anyone knows anything about this?

Actually sailfish camera is capable up to 20mpx currently. Which sailfish versio you using? Because Jolla recently updated/ increased camera mpx from 16mp to 20 in Sailfish 2.2.1 Nurmonjoki update.
Btw. megapixels not affect that much for picture quality, there is so many other more important specs in camera.
But unfortunately still Xperia x with sailfish takes quite bad pictures if we compare them to oringinal Sony's android.
