What is the Outh2 applications site on jolla web account telling me?

There are "Name", "Key" and "Secret" with a hash numer for every item. Each time I log on Jolla account by phone, it adds one entry. But what is this good for? And why is it named "Your Applications"?

Do you mean you have several different entries? I only have one, and I'm guessing it's either from harbour or together.

My guess is that it's like https://twitter.com/settings/applications where authenticated apps are listed. "Applications" being anything from mobile clients to web sites that lets you authenticate using their OAuth API.

Yes. We currently create one OAuth2 application for every device registration associated with the account (although this will change in the future). If you have to reregister a device for any reason (eg, you've deleted the account, or reflashed the device, etc) it will create an application.

@chris.adams Given the "we" in your comment I suppose it's an answer from Jolla? If so would you consider converting your comment to an answer?
