Xperia X + Sailfish X 3.0.1.11: unable connect to PC + Android doesn't find camera photos
Pc Connection problem: I'm trying to connect with PC, PC doesn't recognize properly phone. Phone in MTP mode, In Windows Explorer I can see D-drive, but it cannot be opened. -tested with two Windows7 machines -One Windows10 machine -multiple different USB cords -SSH connection via Putty works fine! -removed pin code locking or enabled it
Android alien dalvik cannot access photos taken by camera: -android programs only access folders that are within android system. Whatsapp, messenger etc can take photos and those are seen in android programs. but no photos in Sailfish camera folder etc. This worked fine before SFOS3, had 5month break of using Xperia X because display was broken.
Anyone else facing same issues?
I can confirm the second part. It is not possible to get access to SF pictures and mail attachments for android apps. If I get a excel-spreadsheet by mail it is not possible to open it in excel. Trying copy+paste to android storage with file manager fails...
PC-connection (W10/64bit) works, but no access to android storage either.
I'm so happy to have excel onboard after years of workarounds and now I can't use it without workaround (remove SD-card, save file from PC on card with adapter, mount card on phone again)
Has anybody ideas?
