[SailfishX][Gemini] No way to force apps to landscape

90% of the apps I tried only open in portrait mode and there is no way to force them to landscape mode. Even apps like Heebo who have a landscape mode
This is a bug report. I know there exists workarounds like using this or other patches to make it work.

Maybe you should complain to the corresponding app authors. As far as I know, its also up to the app to limit the orientation choices.
rinigus ( 2019-02-28 09:27:39 +0300 )Yes of course. But not all apps are maintained anymore. And a way to force stuff into landscape as an overwrite to whatever the app author set is possible and doable as patches show and works mostly without issues
