We had a well visited meeting (about 30 attendees) at FrOSCon 2019 in August and decided there to try a monthly meeting in Bonn.

The first monthly meeting in September attracted about 10 people, about half locals (i.e. from Bonn) and half from the greater region.

The second monthly meeting in October had far less visitors: three locals plus @mosen (kudos to him for traveling alone all the way to Bonn for the second time).
As we could always meet spontaneously at this scale, without the overhead of planning weeks in advance and announcing the next planned meeting here at TJC and elsewhere, we (four) decided to try for a third time, to see if a fixed, regular meeting in Bonn really does not work: In order to assess that before the meeting, we kindly ask those who are planning to attend to explicitly express that.

Thus do post in a comment to the planned, third monthly meeting in November until one week before the meeting (i.e., 7 Nov 2019), if you are expecting to be there. ~~If we receive at least 8 positive statements before the 2019-11-07 deadline, we will make a reservation, otherwise this meeting will be~~ cancelled.
Feel free to also post suggestions for topics to discuss at the November meeting; besides technical issues, this could also be a change of the meeting place or time (limited to Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening at the current location), as already pointed out.

Yep I have a general interest aswell. Depending on how many people we could also meet in Cologne somewhere :)

If it is just a few people meeting, reserving a table or side room in a restaurant may be sufficient, instead of renting a meeting room.
I'm in, if we can find a date, which accommodates all.

As the first meeting on 2019-09-12 went well and attracted about 10 people, a reservation for the second meeting was made.

Note that there are three Tuscolo restaurants (pizzeria), two in Bonn and one in Siegburg: This is the one within 3 minutes walking distance of the Bonn main railway station.

At the Sailfish OS meeting at the FrOSCon 2019 we finally managed to set a frame for this:

Monthly on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening in a restaurant within walking distance of the Bonn main railway station. First meeting will be on a Thursday at 8 p.m., but that may be adjusted for subsequent meetings, if necessary.

I currently aim for the second Thursday in a month, hence hope to successfully make a reservation for the first meeting on 2019-09-12. If so, I will post a new answer with the location etc..

Note, that there was a general agreement, that it would be nice to occasionally meet in walking distance of the Cologne main railway station instead (there are many brew-houses and other restaurants between it and the Rhine river), if somebody volunteers for selecting a suitable location and make a reservation.
But let us first assess how many people show up at the first two meetings in Bonn.
