Anyone else had this issue on 3.0.1.14?
I set it to no ring volume, every few hours I go back to the phone and it has set itself to full ring volume again. Risky going into meetings at work!
Could just be me, but noticed it every day for 3 days several times (having had it installed on my Xa2 for only 3 days).

It can happen if an ambience get (re)selected. If your ambience has 100% ringtone volume and then you use volume keys to make your phone silent, the selecting the same ambience will make the volume 100%. This ambience selection can happen easily from Top menu when the phone is in your pocket. It has happened to me also.

Did you maybe pressed the volume up button by accident when your phone is in your pocket? Or did you already rule that out?
leszek ( 2019-03-21 14:11:23 +0200 )editI initially thought that first couple of times, but this happened into double figures times annoyingly :( Must be a bug or potentially an issue with the case I had on. Removed the case now, if it doesn't do it again then I shall close this issue but it seemed to be when stationary for a while. Time will tell :)

laubblaeser ( 2019-03-21 15:29:50 +0200 )editI can't reproduce this on the tablet, at least. Maybe it's a hardware problem where the keys are too sensitive and think they're being pressed when they aren't?
