Jolla tablet no longer responding after Oulanka upgrade

I started to install the Oulanka upgrade on by Jolla tablet yesterday and it has gone totally blank and I would now want to revover it to a previous version. I have found the instructions on how to place the tablet to recovery mode but I am failing to connect to it with SSH. The only instruction I've seen is to connect to 10.42.66.66 but I have not seen any info on what my laptop network settings should be when starting the connection.

Would the netmask be 255.255.255.0?

Also, I would need info on where to locate an image that would work.

Any ideas where I could find those?

Maybe not exactly what you ask for but you could try resetting the tablet with https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/208406917
Note as well I had a similar issue and did reset it

Thanks, exactly what I was looking for. Factory reset completed and device is back.

Thanks as well. Still wondering about this bug - and about how long the tablet will be suported...

My Jolla Tablet installed 3.0.2.8 without problems (except for the missing progress screen after reboot, as usual - is that the bug you're referring to, @melg01?).

@MeegoUser: I really waited veeeery long (about 15 mins) after the update and first reboot, but nothing happened... forcing reboot afterwards just showed me the jolla and intel logo an nothing else, no way to break out of this loop. So, no alternative to doing a hard reset to factory settings as described in the link above :-(((

@melg01 Yes, I've made that critical mistake too a while ago, and had to reset.. the updates take a long time on the tablet (didn't measure it, but longer than on the phone for sure, and longer than 15 min for sure too), so don't touch it until either it reboots by itself, or restart it by hand after 2-3 hours have passed by. Resetting is such a pain in the ass, so better wait some time too long than too short..
