Exchange calendar fails to synchronize and i suspect it might have to do with some calendar entry. It happen before then went away at some point. This time I tried to delete and recreate the account and no calendar entries are displayed. Email sync works.

I can see the following errors in journalctl.

a bunch of:

Apr 11 13:30:37 Sailfish [522]: [C] unknown:0 - sqliteformat.cpp: 495 - failed to modify attendees for incidence "6a87c064-9fee-4c8b-b88a-0d5ed8f015b8"

followed by:

Apr 11 13:30:37 Sailfish invoker[596]: terminate called after throwing an instance of 'Maemo::Timed::Exception'

Apr 11 13:30:37 Sailfish invoker[596]: what(): empty attribute value in void Maemo::Timed::Event::setAttribute(const QString&, const QString&)

I am not sure yet sqliteformat errors are related to the exchange account. What could be the reason for the sync error?

@Florin As different devices have different Exchange backends (even if SFOS version is same!), please add information about your device to your question. It may help others to help you.

I seem to have a similar problem. One of my calendar syncs using caldav on Posteo just stopped working. In the log I found the following:

[D] unknown:0 - identityimpl.cpp 96 updateState Updating state:  "Ready" SignOn::IdentityImpl(0x1786670)
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'Maemo::Timed::Exception'
what(): empty attribute value in void Maemo::Timed::Event::setAttribute(const QString&, const QString&)

It would be really nice to get a hint how to find out which calendar event is causing this.

Device: Jolla 1, SailfishOS 3.0.3.10

Right! I also found that the sync issues might be related to "whole day" events. I kind of could correlate the last time i got the issue with such calendar entries that i received. Could you check that on your side?

Sorry for the delay. I wasn't able to reproduce any of this since the sync just started working again. I have no clou what the problem or the solution was. Maybe my wife changed some event in our shared calender but I just don't know... Sorry!
