OpenRepos download spikes

Howdyhow!

I have recently been following the activity on openrepos. I know this forum is not competent for openrepos; but I know people working with it might be here, so I guess this is worth a shot.

It appears the download ammounts (as can be seen from the global stats) are pretty much stable up to some (more or less periodical) spikes. The spikes seem to match with downloads of all avialable packages for a given app (quickbar for instance). I guess somebody is synching something? Can more info be shared on this?
