Hi there,

since yesterday i almost can not charge my xperia x. it could be a broken usb port, but i did update to 3.0.3 on monday too. usually when usb port is broken, a slight push helps. in my case not. just plug, unplug .. using a laptop, the usb dialog gets invoked, but charging does not start .. anybody experiencing similar issues ?

There were some changes made to charging notifications: Charging notification (beep + banner) is triggered on "charging usb mode activated", not on "battery charging commenced".

So, could it be that it is charging and you are just missing the notification (beep + banner)?

The battery icon in status area and charging led pattern should indicate actual state - for example:

Blank screen
Cover proximity sensor
Attach to pc via cable
Display stays off, charging led turns on
Uncover proximity sensor
Display turns on, usb dialog is shown
Select charging
Beep plus charging banner notification

i have slready ordered a sparepart, when a friend told me to clean the port.

that did the.trick.
