SailfishOS XA2 Can`t change call volume for headset

Hi,
I can not change the call volume when using a headset (e.g. the one of Sony supplied with the phone). Visually the call volume is decreasing when pressing the buttown to lower the volume but that does not change the volume. The volume is always extremely high making the headset unusable for phone calls.
Changing the volume during listening to music with the headset works great.
Is there a way to change the call volume during headset usage from the command line?
This is not a new bug for 3.0.3. I have experienced the same bug with 3.0.2.
EDIT: 2019-09-10: When headphones are connected, the volume is quite loud. Here's how things go:
- After the call has been initialized, if the volume is adjusted lower it doesn't change.
- If the volume is first adjusted higher and then lower, the actual call volume changes.
